Your wedding cake will be one of the most memorable details of your wedding day, a showpiece that guests will talk about to friends and family.  At Conner's Cakes & More, we believe that your cake should not only look beautiful, but taste spectacular as well.  That is why we offer a variety of cake flavors and styles to fit your special day.  All of our cakes are made to order from the freshest natural ingredients.

Decorations:

Conner's Cakes & More specializes in wedding cakes that are not only decorative, but also elegant and subtle.  Decorations can be minimal or include swags, ruffles, basketweave, or Royal Icing flowers.  A popular option is an all-white decorated cake with the color coming from the flowers.  Sometimes we can decorate your cake to reflect the subtle artistry of your wedding dress.  Pictures of ideas that you have found are welcome and invited.  We want to customize your cake to fit your wedding style and theme.

Wedding cake prices are determined on a per person basis, and may vary according to the type of cake, icings, and decorations requested.  We encourage you to call and speak with us as soon as possible to plan your cake and reserve your wedding date.  We require a minimum of one weeks notice for most birthday and other occasion cakes and a minimum of two weeks notice for any cake for over 50 people.   A non-refundable deposit of $10 for birthday and other occasion cakes and $50 for wedding cakes will be required upon booking your cake.  Our email is at info@connerscakes.com.

Wedding & all other tiered cakes:  The following cake sizes will serve more that the suggested servings.  This also has the understanding that the bride and groom will be keeping the top tier (the smallest size) and saving it (traditionally) for their first anniversary.  Our portions are based on a 2-inch x 1-inch slice of cake.  Also prices listed are the minimum price.  Any equipment (i.e.: cake plates, columns, fountains, stairways, etc.) can be added at an additional charge.

Delivery and Set-up Charges:

Because of the complexity and fragile nature of wedding cakes, tiered cakes and "3-D" cakes, there will be an additional delivery/set up fee of $50.00* to have your cake delivered to your reception area/designated site.  This includes cakes that require construction and/or need detailed on-site assembly.  (*Local delivery in the Hilliard, Florida area is $5.00 off the delivery/set up fee.)  There is also a deposit of $100* required for any cake style or design that uses any fountains, staircases, columns or other "permanent" equipment.  (*This deposit will be refunded to you provided the equipment is returned is good condition within 10 days of the event.)  For all birthday and other occasion single-layer cakes (other than "3-D" cakes) the delivery fee is $10.00.*  (*Local delivery in the Hilliard, Florida area is $5.00 off the delivery/set up fee.)

White, Yellow, Chocolate, German Chocolate, Red Velvet, Orange, or Strawberry cake are our customer's favorites, however, we can do any cake flavor you request - such as Carrot Cake, Pound Cake, Angel Food Cake or Fruit Cake.

Groom's Cakes:

Many brides ask what is a groom's cake and where did this tradition originate.  We don't know the exact origin, but it does tend to be more of a Southern tradition.  The groom's cake used to be either chocolate or fruitcake that was individually boxed and was given as a favor to guests to take home.  Today, groom's cakes are usually chocolate cakes, but they can be any flavor, especially if the the groom has a favorite, since it is his cake.  Groom's cakes can be tiered cakes, like a wedding cake, although usually much smaller, or they can be shaped or decorated to reflect the groom's interests or hobbies.  This cake can be served either at the rehearsal dinner, or at the wedding.  If it is served on the wedding day, the groom's cake is usually on a separate table from the wedding cake, but is served at the same time as the wedding cake. We would love to create a unique cake to honor your groom as well.  Prices are the same as the wedding cake prices for tiered cakes (with the same delivery and set up fees) and the same price as birthday and other occasion cakes for single-layer cakes (with the same delivery fees).
